Looking for output control: LED indicator
Posted by Bruce Varley on February 24th, 2007

Hi, In some industrial software I've seen a dialog box control (actually an
output indicator) that looks like an LED in a bezel, and shows various
colours. Does anyone know where something like this can be obtained? TIA

There are some alternatives:
- Digital camera
- Analog camera + scanner
- drawing it yourself
- copying from an existing software without copyrights on the image
- google

- Sten

Sure. Use the drawing primitives- a filled circle,
filled w/ the desired color to match your output,
over a larger circle, which is the color of your 'bezel'.

Did something similar to effect the 'blinkenlights' for
a CPU simulator, once upon a time. The blinkenlights
were excellent....my CPU sim, not so much... there's
a reason they suggest you *not* try and learn
programming by coding an emulator/simulator...
