I am running DTM "Common Scenario Stress with IO" on a USB device driver on
Vista 32. There is a random failure in this test when the test tool fails to
find the device after resume from S4. The same problem was coming with "Sleep
Stress with IO". However, after applying the HOT FIX from MS (see MS articles
928631 and 941996) the later failure has gone. But I still see the problem
with common scenario ... (the failure is random and if I run the test again
it may pass).

Has anyone else seem similar problems when running DTM on Vista 32 client ?

I have not used DTM (I find it way to cumbersome for any reasonable
testing). But working with another consultant on a USB driver when HCT was
still the required model, we saw this. We queried Microsoft and their
answer was "If you can run it and get it to pass once, that is all you need,
we don't care if it fails 39 out of 40" Turns out the power/resume testing
did not work reliably, this sound like the problem may still be there.
