- Graphics Driver Source Code for Remote Graphics
- Posted by Daniel on August 18th, 2005
I’m trying to get source code for a graphics card driver (XP) to be able to
virtualize the graphics driver (e.g. capture all the DDI/DirectDraw calls and
forward them over the web to another computer). This would result in
something like VNC, RDP or Citrix, but I want to do some testing myself to
learn more about the limitations. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone has
access driver source code since the samples in the DDK are for very old cards
that are hard to find and don't support a lot of acceleration features.
Any comments/suggestions are also welcome!
THANKS!!!

Talk to ATI. I know some 3rd-party developers has radeon driver source code.
If it is something can significantly boost their sale they may have you sign
an NDA for accessing the source code. Mind you, it's HUUUUUGE.
