- Install network device drivers on Vista
- Posted by Ken Millett on December 8th, 2005
If this is the wrong group, please direct me to the correct one.
I have a customer install application that installs drivers on Windows 2000
and XP for NC_NetClient, NC_NetService, and NC_NetProtocol devices using
infs and INetCfg.
This no longer works on Windows Vista.
Is there something I need to do to get it to work on Vista or is there some
other install mechanism I should be using.
I read something about a new device installation architecture for Vista
(DIFx?). Am I supposed to use that? Something else?
thanks for any help you can give,
Ken

Well, DifX claims to support Vista and win2k, so it's worth to try.
