Microsoft Approved USB2.0

I would like to test my high speed USB2.0 device
on several different USB2.0 hubs.
Is there a list of hubs that were approved/passed WHQL?

A) The site at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/catalog will list all
products thathave passed WHQL for logoing. Go to Hardware, Other Devices
and then USB Hubs.

B) To ensure that you get the most accurate answer, you should post this
question on microsoft.public.windowsxp.winlogo and/or send mail to your
technology-specific alias listed on this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hwtest/pages/support.mspx.

I would point out that users do not always buy WHQL-approved devices. For
complete test coverage, you need to make sure you work with all kinds of
hubs, including those built in to different motherboards.

And even when you get the logo on 100% WHQL-blessed equipment, nasty users still
will blame yours for not working with their cheapo not-koshero crapo.

Please ensure that you are also testing with the latest USB Host Controller
drivers (i.e. USB Core Stack) from Microsoft. You can get the latest details
from http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hwdev/...B/default.mspx. this page
gets updated quarterly, so please review it often for latest details. There
are plans to include a USB Frequently Asked Questions list (mainly for
beginners/intermediates) up there soon.

Also like to point out that Q822603
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=822603) is available on Windows Update
as a recommended update for Windows XP. If you are testing a hi-speed ISOC
device, you must have this update installed to guarantee good results.
