- NDIS IM New Hardware Found problem
- Posted by Pete Davis on September 20th, 2003
When I remove my IM driver and reboot, when the machine comes up, it says
"New Hardware found" and it's my driver.
Do I have something wrong in my .INF files?
For installing it (again, using the Passthru example as my base), I simply
select the adapters, add services, and give it the directory of the .INFs,
in the same way the passthru example says to install itself.
I didn't notice this problem with the passthru example, but I made changes
to the INF file. Mostly in terms of naming, though. Any help would be
appreciated.

incorrectly. For examples, when "oem??.(inf|pnf)" left in
%SystemRoot%\inf directory. Sorry, can't provide you with more
information (just had forget now as I've been already accomplished =),
but dig in that direction.
