WHERE TO FIND THE DDK? PRINTERS DDK?
Posted by simone on July 2nd, 2003

I need a copy of the DDK, particularly for printers. It provides stuff
like code for localspl.dll. MS does not provide this on the web-site.
Anyone know where I could find this? Even better, any chance I could
get it emailed? My driver development for the printer is pretty
advanced (have written a port monitor), but I cannot progress without
the DDK.

You could have found the answer by searching this or related groups.

Microsoft will send the DDK on CD (in the US and Canada at least) for
the cost of shipping, about US$15. I believe the only legal download
site is the Microsoft MSDN, whose membership fee is rather more than
$15.

Ask your friends who has MSDN Pro or universal subscription.
The DDK is included in MSDN delivery on CD/DVD and also available in
subscribers downloads.
