I have the game all loaded and when I put the cd in to play the game, a pop
up comes up and says,, CD/DVD emulation software has been detected. Please
disable all CD/DVD emulation software and re-start the game. What does this
mean?

The game thinks that you are running a virtual CD drive like Daemon
Tools. Disable the program and restart. Might have to do with Nero as well.
