Not sure about Yellow Pages working online...
do you mean 'does the page load' or do you mean 'does the page produce
business'?
If you mean 'does the page produce business?', then you should probably know
that no-one will click on your ill-disguised spam in this forum, and that
creative marketing goes beyond your learning how to post on Usenet.
I would try making direct contect with people in your community... offering
good service (exceeding expectations)... establishing word-of-mouth
references and ...please... avoid crass marketing.
Seeing as Australia is in the grip of Home-Improvement / Renovation /
Reality Show / Real Estate hyperbole at the moment... you should be able to
work out, with some independant and creative thought, where to position
yourself in order to capitalise on "the next big thing".
Think...
beyond spam.

Haven't bothered with it. The book hasn't done anything for me, so I haven't
gone into the online version.
Networking. Print your web address on your stationary. Give 'em away like
you don't care.
How long have you been in business?
Is there any reason you advertise web design if you cannot sell it via a
good web site yourself? I'd suggest removing this service until you have a
web site that you can be proud of.

I understand your point. I still would've thought the service shouldn't be
listed if you haven't provided any samples..... yet.
My opinion would be to remove the word "web design" until you hook up with a
web designer that you require.

point. and I'm looking for a good web designer to do them 4 me.
