Hi,
I tried to find six colors of blue starting with
1. darkblue
2. lighter than darkblue
3. lighter than line 2
etc.
I bought Pantone for that purpose and never really succeed to have six
distinct colors that I can print with an epson printer. Can someone
help me. I think it needs someone very familiar with colors that have
the eyes and know much about colors.
Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by "I bought Pantone.." What, actually did
you buy? A Pantone swatch book? Software color conversion drivers for
your printer? Pantone Software of some kind?
I'm not sure why you'd be trying to do this in the Pantone Matching
System if you desire is for inkjet output only. The Pantone Matching
System is primarily for working with offset printers so that you can
output proofs to match the ink colors printers use.
Inkjets make color up from CMYK or CCMYKK or some similar combination.
They actually work best with RGB input that they convert to CMYK. (most
will convert cmyk input into rgb and back again when outputting). If you
are going to try and create 6 different blues to print out on an inkjet,
I'd suggest working in the RGB color space do develop those colors.
I hope that helps.
