and, you know, the fact that he's been replying to a bot for 30 or 40
posts. Yer a lil slow, Limpdic, so I can understand your confusion.
Oh hey, why don't you pretend that you're a web developer, that's
ALWAYS good for a laugh! ^_^

See, now instead of acting like a complete twat, you could have just
asked for more information in order to fix your flawed script. If you
bothered paying attention to detail, I mentioned that Im running XP Pro

build, you however, are not. Instead you use it as another opportunity
to make the community think even less of you. And you wonder why people
arent forthcoming when you ask for help.
Well done, no really, well done.

Sorry, Poser Boi, but the part of the script that detects whether the

IMHO the graphic style seems a little outdated.
In addition, the text is too small and the color you used for the copyright
notice is unreadable. There is very little contrast between the text and the
background.
Your masthead looks too cluttered. The black copy against the dark green you
choose doesn't works so well. Think about contrast between your elements and
adjust it in relation to the importance of your content.
Probably you get these inconsistencies because browsers have different
default values of margin and padding.
Try to reset these values using the following CSS rule:
body * {
margin:0;
padding:0;
}
Take in mind that if you put block level elements inside a div and you float
them, the parent div behaves as if it is empty. In other words it has no
vertical height because it contains only floated elements.
You have to force it to enclose the floated elements clearing the
non-floated ones after it.
There are different techniques but the simplest one is to put an empty div
with a comment inside after the floated elements:
<div id "clearthefloats"><!-- --><div>
and use the selector id to apply the following CSS rule:
div#clearthefloats {
clear:both;
}
The non-floating div *the one with the id="clearthefloats"* forces the
parent-container div to enclose it thus forming a boundary below itself.
The new elements following the parent-container div will be positioned
correctly following at the bottom.
HTH
cheers :-)

With neither quill nor qualm, Onideus Mad Hatter quothed:
"If you said" and "what you said" are 2 different things, aren't they?
Would you be less of a jerk if you really knew what you were doing?
Duh, and it doesn't, as I claimed. Of course, it looks like you'll just
never be able to understand that.
You ask me a question, assume the answer, then attach another question
onto the arbitrary choice you've made. You're a real beauty...
So? Did I ever say it didn't. I said it didn't detect Mozilla in spite
of your feeble attempt to "adjust" the issue.
Who cares whose work it is? This isn't a personal attack on the author,
it's a statement that the script is sub-par.
This is your idea of "as good as it gets?"
And this is your idea of "as good as it gets?"
I doubt that. As they say, "There's always someone better."
Furthermore, the evidence you offer for your claim is especially
dubious.
Why should I? You going to pay me? Besides, you're doing a pretty good
job of it yourself, anyway.
Yeah, lots of people who converse with you backpedal, don't they?
Uh huh, "browser" and "primary browser rendering engine" is quite a
semantic subtlety, isn't it? Phffft...

While your retarded lil fingers keep molesting your keyboard...it
still works perfectly:
http://www.backwater-productions.net...rm/detect.html
Now then, which major browser and OS combination does that not work
with?
That's a lovely sidestep, but you still didn't answer the question,
here, let me post it again, for the benefit of your stupidity:
Are you claiming there's ANOTHER way of detecting whether a browser
can handle the various aspects of PNG files? Oh, please, oh great
master of the stupid, tell us all what it is!
Mozilla is a major browser now, is it? Tell me, Stupid, why does the
script need to detect Mozilla? See that's the big part you dribbling
little idiots keep skipping...the whole POINT of your rambling,
incoherent stupidity. Oh...I guess rambling, incoherent stupidity
*IS* the point of your reply, huh?
I'll tell you what, Downs, you tell me WHY, specifically, you need the
script to be able to detect the now DEFUNCT Mozilla browser and I'll
revise the script to include it. How's that, huh? You prove to
everyone that you're not just a stupid fucking MORON and I'll give you
a lil gift. ^_^
The script won't wipe your ass for you either, Stupid, but that
doesn't make it sub-par. You are right about one thing though..it's
not a personal attack on the author, it's a FAILING effort to try and
attack me. What's the matter, did that mean 'ol Mad Hatter fuck up
your day or something?
I see you're unable to find a site that has that effect...oh, hey,
looks it's me...not surprised.
Is that your idea of telling me of a site that employs a perfect
liquid image structure using multiple images...cause uh, your
retardation of the English language doesn't look much like a
hyperlink, Trainable.
....well then where are your links, Stupid?
....well then where are the links, Stupid?
....to avoid looking like a stupid, moronic, fucking retard?
It's yer ego on the line, Kiddo, not mine...like I said, I've got the
sites, I've got the work...you don't have shit. There are only two
kinds of people online...those who produce...and those who run at the
fuckin mouth...guess which one you are!
Only the ones who talk shit with nothing to back it up like you.
Again, WHERE ARE YOUR LINKS?

Yeah?
Mozilla - any applicable OS.
I wasn't claiming anything with that particular phrase.
You vacillate between issues easily, don't you?
Duh, yeah...
Really bad debate form there, Oni. You'd flunk it in high school.
Defunct?? Oh, I see: you declared Mozilla defunct so it is now defunct.
<snicker>
It's lousy. It's sub-par. It doesn't do the job it's supposed to do.
Maybe it did originally and you screwed it up or maybe it never did, but
right now it stinks.
This started out being about an inferior script; now it's about you. In
fact most of your dialogues sooner or later end up being about you,
don't they? Inferior complex? Need the old ego bolstered now 'n agin
with some "scintillating invective"? Very childish, Oni.
What effect, as good as it gets? What _are_ you talking about, anyway?
Why should I tell you that? In all honesty, though, it would be hard to
find another web site quite like yours.
What links? Are you saying that you expect me to go search for some
shit that is less shittier than your shit in an attempt to prove your
shit is worse shit and not better shit than the other shit? Shit...
Say what, my ego is "on the line" pursuant to _this_ conversation?? You
must be mad, Hatter!
I ate them for breakfast.
