that really depends what you know now and why you've been hired?

In the past people were hired because they had the ability to do a job and
the capacity to learn more. Most employers would only give tasks
commensurate with experience and ability. If there's anything you're asked
to do that you don't understand then you should ask for help or
clarification from your supervisor. Your employer knows you're new to the
industry [unless you lied on your CV and at your interview] I don't expect
he'll want to take the risk of giving you anything to do that would cost him
dearly if you made a mistake. Good luck and have fun.

Thanks for that and your right, no i didn't lie they know what my
capabilities are
I think I am just nervous I know what needs to be done and just do it.

Are you a graphic artist and if so for how long? What do you do?

I'd be nervous too in my first job in the industry... yup, I remember I was.
I worked at a printers doing paste-up and I was straight out of college with
a degree in graphic design, so I had very little idea what I'd be expected
to do. In the end it was fairly straightforward. Obviously I was on a steep
learning curve and that can be daunting, but most people cut you a fair
amount of slack as long as you're willing to learn and can show you pick
things up quickly. I've found you can't take yourself too seriously with
printers - they like to go in for a load of leg-pulling and p*ss-taking.

I used to be a graphic designer, been in the business for 25 years, but I'm
out of work now... so I'm probably the last person you should be getting
advice from; perhaps whatever I say - you should do the opposite.
