Now that I have you here... and completely off-topic, but since you're
Italian I thought I'd ask anyway:
I'm in the market for a good ice cream (gelato) machine - a good one with
built in freezer and all. For some reason they are not at all available in
Danish stores. I'm probably stereotyping here, but I guess Italy would be a
good place to buy one of those. :-D
If you'd go shopping for one - possibly online - where would you go for a
good price on a good product? I'll probably take a trip to Rome with my GF
this spring. Could I walk into a shop to get a good deal - or would it be
better/easier/cheaper to buy it online?
Any advice?

Hi Mads,
In the past I was interested to go into business with an ice cream shop.
Unfortunately where I live now, too many ice cream shops went into business
during the last five years.
I forgot about the idea. It was not a big deal, especially in a small town
like the one I live.
Personal issues apart, I know that one of the most famous italian company
producing high quality ice cream machines is Carpigiani:

Take a look at what they have to offer.
Are you are interested to buy a professional machine or a consumer one?
Anyway, if you need, I can try to ask to my favourite ice cream shopper what
kind of machine she use. Her shop is only four minutes away from where I
live. Just a short walking down the road.
I remember she told me that the best deal was to purchase used machinery for
the shops.
