anyone know any good and easy to use 3d charting software to create
animated charts for powerpoint etc? short of learning 3d studio, i dont
know what else to do!

i would suggest Googles own Sketchup...you can build the chart model
easily then create an animation frame by frame showing the bars rising
and falling for example...not sure if this would achieve the result you
are after but i thought i would try and help anyway. Its worth seeing
what add-ons programs like Sage have as im sure its possible outside
programs like 3DStudioMax.
