- Lawyer Site Design critique and suggestions wanted
- Posted by Yitz on November 18th, 2004
Hi - I just quickly made this site for a client and I think that it's pretty
simple and I would like to bring it up a notch.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm sort of jaded at the moment
Thanks,
Yitz

It looks like a frankenstein web site.
Copying http://www.harvard.edu or http://www.law.harvard.edu would be more
appropriate

I like the simplicity of your design. However, I feel it is a little too
monochrome.
I'd a couple of simple colour highlights if it were mine, such as a red
tint to the book and a subdued blue-purple instead of the clay-grey for
the "whitespace".

It's ok; it gets its job done, directly and clean.
It suits the profession very well. ( I work exclusively with lawyers, BTW)

Looks like it will do the job, but I'm in agreement with others that
some color would be well advised.

I'm not sure about adding color. Lawyers seem by nature to thrive in the
"gray area." I'd keep it as it is.
