- A little beauty on the 4th
- Posted by Fred Doyle on July 4th, 2008
I hope you all had as beautiful a day as we had here. Full sun and temps
in the low 80's mad for perfect weather. The garden is in full bloom, so
I had a chance to get in some photography. I'll pass along a few and share.

Cool pictures, I definately dig 6 and 7 the most. What kind of camera and
lens do you use?

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment. 6 and 7 would be my
favorites, too. Certainly a different way of seeing a very familiar flower.
All of these were shot with a Canon D300 that's almost 7 years old now,
but still a great camera. The lens is a Canon 100 mm f2.8 macro lens.
Its a great lens for the price. I also use it for portraits a lot.
