A note from the REAL Bob Levine
Posted by Bob Levine on November 5th, 2006

Hello folks,

I'm the real Bob Levine. Apparently I've pissed someone off enough for
him/her to think that impersonating me and insulting all of you is funny.

I don't really mind the spam to my email that I easily filtered out but
this is bit much.

I'm just a guy trying to make a living like most of you. I try to give
back to the user community as much as possible and I would ask each of
you to put yourself in my shoes. How would you feel if someone
effectively stole your name and made you look like a fool.

The website I put up will never win any design awards, nor will anything
else I do. I already know that. I work with clients that can't afford
Madison Ave rates and I have quite a few happy consulting clients that
aren't spending anywhere as much in AA's as they used to. They're
pleased and I get to keep eating.

Now, if anyone here can give me clue as to who the jerk is who thinks
this is funny, I'd be more than happy to do whatever I can to at least
see that his ISP is aware of this behavior.

Regards,

Bob

The OP is apparently somewhere in the neighborhood of 19 years old but
with the maturity of a 12 year old. Would an adult act like this?

He's a typical poster on Photoshop sites that starts all of his posts
with "My Adobe..."

Upset that Adobe and other companies actually charge for their software,
he begs others for "serialz" since his allowance won't cover the cost
for a legitimate copy.

Spends most his time hiding behind a keyboard...probably too
self-concious to be seen in public.

Certainly shouldn't be posting anything on the internet since he doesn't
have the stomach for it, though he certainly can dish it out. While he
may have been impersonating me, I'm sure his reaction to the criticism
is the same as when he is really insulted, which I'm sure if VERY often.

Throws threats around on the internet like they were candy but would run
and hide the second he was confronted in "real life."

Will likely cry real tears when he gets grounded and loses the car keys
after mom and dad lose their ISP.

Bob

P.S.: I'm sorry you good folks had be a part of this crap, but I suppose
it takes all kinds. A couple of you seemed to get a kick of it, which I
guess is good.

And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming. <g>
