Very interesting nonetheless, good one.

Pretty cool space. What camera are you using? My friend just got a Z2, not
anything great, but pretty nice for your average user. I used it a bit over
the weekend and love it, cant wait to get my own.

Hey Josh, do you mean Panasonic Lumix Z2? I have the same camera. I' very
happy with it.
It's a great choice to purchase it, especially for the Leica optical Zoom
12X with Image Stabilizer.
Leica and Zeiss are the best companies in the world for optical tecnhology
development.
Unfortunately, the Lumix has not manual exposure setting, but anyway you can
use a shutter or aperture priority and modify the exposition values *EV* and
you will get the same kind of functionality.
I take a lot of photo shots with the Z2. The last ones I take were during a
Sophia's live gig *around 50 shots*.
I will post the link as soon as the website will be done.
cheers

Very nice photos Mirry.
I like both. Anyway the second photo was a little under exposed but I guess
you took that one during the twilight. Isn't it?
The firts photo make me feel like a tourist in Edimburgh. Thanks for the
beautiful tour in Scotland :-)

I will post some more soon!
These were taken just before sunset, but the hill was already in shadow.
I'll fix the images in PS before I put them in my gallery, but I've not
had time. Those pics are straight from the RAW files on the camera,
shrunk and jpeg'd.

I envy you because your camera has the RAW format ;-) The Lumix has only jpg
format.
The RAW format is really important if you want to get a digital photo that
is like negative film. You have a lot of possibilities with it to digitally
post process your image like in a dark room.
Here's a shot I take in Switzerland *I line very near the border* with my
Lumix:

Davide, Actually I meant the Minolta Dimage Z2. Does Panasonic make good
cameras? I would like to see those pics, let me know when you have them
posted. I will be looking for a camera, somewhere in the $500 range.

Hi Josh,
I purchased mine at 319,00 euros at the following e-commerce website:
http://www.fotodigit.it/sezioni/elen...OCAT= &page=1
There are plenty of new cameras with very low prices. Anyway I don't have a
clue about the price at your local store. Probably it's higher than 319,00
euros.
Notice that the camera's photographic resolution is only 2MPX. It seems a
commercial strategy adopted by Panasonic to apply affordable prices offering
top quality lenses for their customers *Leica optical zoom 35-420 1: 2,8 /
4,6*. Anyway if you don't need to print images at very large dimensions, I
think isn't an issue.
Here's a link to a photo taken in Switzerland. You can judge by yourself the
quality of the image.
Let me know what you think:

....I forgot to tell you... if you want to purchase the FZ2, avoid the silver
one, instead go with the black colour. If you are an intensive user of the
camera the colour will be discoloured by the heat of your hands and the
plastic black case will be revealed.
Very ugly!

P.S. I hope my explanation of the problem is clear. I had a lot of trouble
to translate it without dictionary. Sorry.

Not a bad picture. Pretty neat looking area, its a wonder there are no boats
in the water.
