What do you think this is?

It's like one of those registering marks I used to see on proofs and artwork

I don't think it's a Reg mark - the line at the bottom is curved
slightly - that is, if we're supposed to be thinking literally and not
symbolically.

The Constantin thing is interesting - I've not seen the movie yet, so I
couldn't possibly say for sure at all.

All right, give Brian - what is it?

I guess I must be an old fart for knowing what that is. I don't know the
exact name -- registration marks? -- but in the old days of pasteup and
preparing mechanicals, we used those to line up overlays with the bottom
board. You'd buy them in a roll, like a roll of scotch tape, and you'd
put them on the bottom board and overlays, making sure they superimposed
perfectly so that everything would end up in the correct position when
printed."
I said it looked "religious," and he said, "It's only religious if you
worship design and graphics."

They do not still do that?

I have not been able to get a job. In graphics. I think my teacher at
the art institute was a spy.

Now I have to work as a slave with illegal aliens. The government
follows me around the country because I tried to remove a microchip out
of my back.

some texts!?!

"You can not serve both God and Mammon." Matthew 6:24

Mammon is supposedly Ameraic for riches.

I have several of the collected books, but it's a patchy series in both art
and writing. The best issue IMHO (#27 "Hold Me") has been scanned and put
online by some fanboy thief who hasn't heard of copyright:

For those of you guess something religious you were right. It's a
church logo. (This isn't one I made, by the way...just one that caught
my eye.)

Interesting that you noticed it as a registration symbol. When I
initially saw it at a glance I thought, "It's crosshairs for a weapon!" :-)
