I have an Epson C84 and I love it. Prints crisply, prints quickly, and it
wasn't expensive at all. My mother uses hers to print photos -- I have
three of them hanging on my wall, and they're absolutely beautiful. One is
a closeup shot of a yellow rose, and you can see *every* detail --
perfectly. The only downfall is that it drinks ink like a canned heat bum.

The inks are sold separately (although you can get multi-packs cheaper at
places like Costco and Sam's Club). I've never once had my jets become
clogged or dry up, and I rarely use my printer at all. I haven't replaced
mine yet, but I do think these cartridges are larger than the ones that came
with my old Epson. I honestly think the C84 is a great value for the money
I spent (which wasn't much to begin with).
My mother uses hers constantly, and she loves it.

Oh -- one more thing. When you buy the printer, check around to see if
there's a rebate. I got $30 back on mine.

Well out of the five I sent in, I've received three....so I guess I should

I think I'd trust Epson....I'll certainly NEVER trust Maxtor again -- SOBs
said I didn't send in my rebate info before the deadline.....ummmm....OH YES
I DID, DAMMIT. So there's $55 I won't get -- oh well. Live and learn.
Next time I'll buy Western Digital.
