Selling separations
Posted by Carlos Fernandez on March 31st, 2005

Hi all,

As the responsible for the engraving section of a broken textile
company, I have a huge collection of textile designs, all with digital
separations, ready for plotting, engraving. They were originally made
for laser engraving.

The question is, I want to sell the digital separations. Which is the
best way/channel group for this purpose?

I'm thinking in developing a web site where you can see a low
resolution of the designs, with a description of, number of
separations, if flats or rastered (haltoned) and so on.

Anyone has any idea?

TIA

Carlos

Contact textile companies with low resolution images up on a
web site. thats your market. Id have one or two in high
resolution to show off the quality. and Id lable the low
resolution images that way.

Id put up the web site, then advertise it in national and
international textile trade magazines with box ads ( a small
box ad will cost you 200 dollars or so)...a classified ad
maybe 50 dollars.
