The server is really slow.
But a very nice looking site.

Good work,

Mark, I think it looks nice, but a minor note... especially if this is
medical equipment, you're going to want to make the site at least somewhat
"accessible". You have no ALT tags for your images - that's especially
important for those graphics that are pure text (and most of those could be
done as actual text and still look nice). And speaking of text, you've
specified fixed text sizes in pixels - that means no one can resize them if
they feel the text is too small on their screen to be read.

i like it, nice and clean, easy to use etc..
only one thing... the first and second set of images on the front page are
the same (the digital and analogue scales) on the dark red and the orange
are the same... kind of uneccesary repetition.. maybe just chnage thos
images, but otherwise, i like it

* The design doesn't use the full page (there are white margins)
* Legibility. Your text is generally much too <subscript>small
</subscript>
* Color. Light grey text on white is practically unreadable.
* you are using CSS but resort to:"images/shim.gif"
* the rollovers can be done with CSS

Overall, your page legibility is poor -and why present content if it
cannot be easily read?

That was no smart thing to say. Purchasing managers put off their
suits after office hours and get normal end users like everyone else.
Purchasing manager are not a kind of humans that are different than
end users.

But in a way I understand you, purchasing managers will look for other
information at the site than end users.

I don't mind the lack of ALT tags. I've never seen/heard an auditive
application prenouncing the ALT words up to know.

Be carefull with fixed text sizes. Try to make at least the standard
text (big text blocks) relative in size.

After all, it's a great site.

Greetz,

Barton

.....took a look after you asked.....

sometimes the units are to the side and sometimes below the input/output
fields...
when below this sometimes this forces the field up out of horizontal
alignment with it's comapnion.....looks odd

....and you're missing a "line.gif"

maybe replace the main color scheme to a base of blue tones to reflect the
metal/plastics used in these products.
Or would that be too "cold"
Just a thought.

Screen readers that blind (or near-blind) users use will read whatever text
is put in the ALT tag area for images - that way you can still use images
for navigation and not alienate those users.
