- Vector format for images in OpenOffice.org
- Posted by Kerberos on November 24th, 2004
I have to include my signature in most OpenOffice.org documents. So far I
have used a bitmap scanned image of my signature, but when the customer
prints the document, the signature isn't clean, it shows large pixels.
Is there a way to include vector graphics in an OpenOffice.org document?

What types have you tried?
I imagine you should do fine with an eps as long as your customer has a
postscript printer.

what's the resolution of the bitmap you're putting into the doc? Personally,
I have issues with putting vector versions of a signature in a document that
you're sending out to other people. What's to prevent them from taking the
vector out of the doc and using it on other items? The bitmap is bad enough,
but at least if it's resized it will probably look crappy. If they resize
the vector, it'll still look smooth.
