- Website design fee
- Posted by H on April 8th, 2004
Hi,
I'm just about to put an estimate together
to design a website for a small design firm. (freelance)
It'll be a full service, including designing graphics,
Flash programming, etc, and the site will simply present
who they are, and what they do(portfolio)--just
like any other typical small design studios' websites.
Copy and photographs will be supplied by the client.
I think it'll take approx. 2-2 1/2 months to complete
this job, and the client wants to pay by the project,
not hourly.
Based on all these conditions, if you're to estimate
this job, how much would you charge for it?
Thanks for your help. I'll be looking forward to
hearing your experiences.

Charge as much as you can get.

2 1/2 months based on an 8 hour day at your daily rate!
ours would be 10(days) x 8(hours) x £50
mark

Hi,
It will take you 2 and a half month to design a simple web site:-)?
In order to get as much money as possible and not to scare away your customs
from table, I suggest that you should make a list of price of each item
(html, every pictures, etc), then get the total cost. If your custom feel
the price is too high, you can remove some items.
