I like the second one down best, even though they are all a bit obscure.

hmm...
I'm still trying to get this goddamned microchip out of my back that George Bush and the
secret service stuck there when they kidnapped and drugged me in 1982 during my drinking
trip to Key West.
Exterminate the christian jew cop supreme court.

I agree - prefer what you have already....

I like it. Looks like a set of brass knuckles or a fist coming my way but I
still like it.
I'll agree with Mirri about it being rather 60s-ish but maybe more 70s because
of that mock 3d offset in the middle one. I like the middle one the best.
but see below.....
Unfortunately, I did not see the letters until I read this bit. maybe find a
typeface that will define your letters a bit more or draw them yourself.
Maybe try points for the 'Ws' baseline instead of curves?
Once the letterforms clicked I thought it was rather clever.
ps: I must have missed your current one. got a link for that?

This problem is the same that we went through with our friend from
Vision2Site (what ever happened to him anyway?). We're having to
decipher the logo. When I first saw it, I thought it looked like brass
knuckles. So, are you a karate studio? Do you teach people how to
brawl? If I hadn't known that it was nmd (or was it MND?), I wouldn't
have understood it at all.

Doesn't say anything to me. Just some nice-looking squiggles
unfortunately
I don't know your clients but it may be too 'out-there'
for some people.

Just saw this today and thought of your new concept immediately (the image
is half way down and is purple):
http://www.sitepoint.com/article/cop...igners-steal/2
It may give you an idea to segment areas into more obvious letters like the
sample above?
- Posted by Peadge on October 31st, 2004
Is that the Dreamweaver color scheme? You might want to align the letters
to better represent their sequence. The huge D stands alone and out of
place. Why?

I find the concept really interesting but not really well explored in all
its possibilities. The logos are really hard to be read and it's near
impossible to see the concept you used. Giving the literal translation it'is
really easy to get the meaning, but without it...
cheers :-)

Hi Mark,
I'd say you were pretty much there with those logos...
...personally I would put a small break in the forms between "n" "m" and "d"
or you will always have to back up the logo with the words "new media
design" and that would kind of blow it, wouldn't it?
Cheers and good luck with the re-brand!
