Just received my iPAQ 2210 yesterday. Immediately after installing the
battery I noticed a strange thing: sporadic noises from the unit's
speaker even when it's not switched on. It's not excruciatingly loud and
quite easy to miss if not in a silent environment but I had to remove
the PDA from nightstand last night because the noise annoyed me as I was
trying to sleep.

Is this a known feature of the 2210 or would you say I have a defective
unit? I guess I could live with the noise but it always bugs you when
finding flaws from a brand spanking new gadget.
