Help or Advice Needed

I have an LG Phenom H220C which will not power up. I know the battery is
dead but it used to work fine off the mains supply.

But now when I connect to the mains I do not even get the power light on.
When I press the reset button & press the on button I get the Windows CE
loading screen for about 3 seconds before it dies again.

Has anyone else had this problem & any solutions ?
