Hello.

Anybody able to get DOS commands in STERM to work under 2000 from
owbterm shareware for the Casio Pv. I've sent an email to the author,
but was wondering if might I might find help here.

Basically, this shareware written in owbasic for the casio pv
handhelds allows you to terminal connect to a host. Incredible
considering the unit costs about $40 new.

I am able to connect and am able to go into DOS mode, but when I issue
a dos command like DIR or VER it just sits there with no output back.

I'm thinking the issue might be that sterm 2.0 though 32bit does not
list as compatible with 2000 only 98 and NT, though it installs and
runs apparenly just fine.

My hope is to get this to work and then figure out how to dial out
through a phone modem (motorola data kit) to enventually connect
remotely to one of my home hosts and then run custom .NET web service
that can feed back interactive web content to this cheap little unit.
