It's alive! I left it to go flat, plugged in the charging connector THEN reset (poked the stylus in the hole! and booted to FlashROM) and after charging overnight, it's now back to normal! Woo...

If you are "very concerned that if you buy an Axim today, Dell is going to come out with the next Axim model any time soon" and that it stops you from buying, maybe it's because you don't NEED it...
