Personally I would get the new 2215/2210 from HP. Seems smaller and
newer than the dell, I don't know the price on the dell, if that is
the factor.

I briefly played with a 221x at CompUsa the other day...very cool...much smaller and lighter
than I was expecting, and very sleek looking too. I've never seen or held an Axim in person,
but my guess is that it's a bit larger and heavier than this one, which still wouldn't be
that bad.
The price for the ipaq is pretty much fixed at 399 right now, while the comparable Axim
400mhz is at 293 on the Dell site. That's a big difference, and one that will definitely be
a part of my decision, but there's definitely something to be said for smaller and lighter.

I looked at both. The size, weight, and speed factors made me decide on
the 2215. Plus, the ipaq has a long product history. If you get a Dell,
be sure to check out the Axim site for info on major problems with the
Scandisk SDs.
