- Running Windows 3.0
- Posted by johnw_94020@yahoo.com on May 25th, 2004
I might be running Windows 3.0 and perhaps DOS 6.22. Where can I find
this OS? If I were to run it, I would be running it on my
Jornada_720- HPC2000 device. http://www.pocketdos.com.
I have no intentions to partion my laptop with this OS.
Also how many MB's do I need?
Thanks,
John

You can't run either directly on that Jornada, or any retail Windows

I'm pretty sure you will be able to run Windows 3.0 on/under a
DOS/x86emulator. Probably DOS 6.22 also. Check out PocketDOS. New
versions are announced in this newsgroup every so often, so google
would be a great way to find leads. I know another similar program
exists, but can't quite remember the name. Something like XTCE.
But I can't help you find a copy of Windows 3 or DOS 6.22.
