- Using a Palm as a MIDI Modual?
- Posted by Pheuque on September 17th, 2003
Ok... this is a REAL weird one. I want to use my Tungsten C as a General
Midi Sound module.
I've hear there's a way to hook up a Palm to a serial cradle, then the
serial cable to a Midi port. I have a couple of Midi Controllers that have
no sound output. So I would like to be able to use my Palm hooked up to the
MIDI keyboard as a simple Player piano.
Any one know anything about this.

Look in http://www.ittymidi.com/compatibility.asp for Palm models that
have Polyphonic capability. Then with the ittyMIDI Converter Box and
ittyMIDI Player's THRU option, you can play the internal synth from an
external controller.
Blessings,
Andrew
