- 2 lan ports?

I just installed a new Gigabyte motherboard and it has 2 lan ports. Should
both of these be connected to my router?

If one is regular 10/100 and the other is Firewire or Bluetooth, stay with
the 10/100 only..

No, the other is for if you want to connect to a different network(/use
shared network connection) than the normal one (router in this case)
As such, at home the secend network connection is _usualy_ unused..

but I am always in search of speed!
