After I installed SP3, my monitor won't comes up, even the pc boots, the
monitor stays black. I have to disconnect and reconnect the monitor (with the
pc on), then i get the monitor up. I rolled back SP3, but still have the same
problem. I put a new video card with VDI cable, still same problem.
Re-installed drivers, same.

Any idea, suggestions?

Note: Compaq Presario + DCLCD flat monitor

You invited the problem into yer computer...........
If nuthin was wrong with yer pc in the first place then why install somthin
that aint goin to make yer pc any faster or better.
