I have tried to install a Brother printer,scanner copier and fax to the pc,
I followed the installation instructions and have not yet attached the USB
cable to the pc. Error message 126 is :
Application management service
Error 126 Specified module can not be found
Could not start the application management service on local computer.
The last successful instalment of any sort was done over a year and a half
ago. I am not an IT "buff" please be gentle.

trying to start the service.

This looks like an error that occurs when the wrong brother network
management software is installed.
From the Brother web site.
"The Web version of the BRAdmin Professional software with LAN/WAN
capabilities requires Microsoft Internet Information Server."

There were two cd's that came with the package, the one that I used is for
XP however the problem covers any installation whether it is the
printer/fax/copier/scanner or DVD-RW with cyberlink PowerDVD.
