- Blank Device Manager

Am lost, I have a device manager that has nothing there. I have checked.
plug-and-play, Regedt32 ck ENUM and Started windows in the safe mode and
last good confg plus I went to device manager and ck view to see if it was
hidden .No help still have a blank device manger.Am Lost.

....I noticed lots of talk about malware being responsible for this effect,
so you might want to do full malware removal procedure !

Hi Joekid48,
I've been fighting a similiar issue for a week. Seems like I did many of the
same things as you. Checked PnP services, looked all through ENUM.... I was
working with Level 2 tech support. Not a lot of help/but very nice guy.
Uninstalled AV and SP3. Reinstalled SP3. Nothing worked. Grrr.
I tried a "registery" repair utility and that fixed it. I normally don't
care to mess with those, but was at wits end. The one I used was Glary
Registery Repair, free from CNET. Worked perfectly since running that.
