- Can"t scan, drivers disabled.Umax scanner Win. XP

I can't scan on desktop or photo express. I've downloaded new
driver,uninstalled
and reinstalled,tried Ms"s fixes. I've tried to enable in device manager w/o
any success. I've got 2 MS code errors. Scanner driver code 28 & NT/Apm
Legacy Interface Node code 22. I have these devices diabled how do I enable
them? If anyone has a answer please let me know,I would greatly appreciate
it. Thanks, Jim
