For some reason, my CD/DVD tray stays open. All of a sudden it will not
take a CD or DVD. Ever heard of this or any suggestions on what to do??

Probably it is time to replace the drive. They don't last forever, and a
CD/DVD-ROM drive is around $25usd - very cheap.
