Showing a conflict in device manager-no driver for multimedia audio
controller.
How do I determine what driver is required.Only one pci devise
installed-Modem.

Jon,
Download and install EVEREST Home Edition here;
http://www.lavalys.com/products/over...ng=en&pageid=1
It will tell you what's inside your PC. Once you find out what
motherboard/audio device you have, go to the manufacturers website and
download the correct driver.

Visit the support web site of the manufacturer of your motherboard,
search for the Windows XP compatible audio driver, download and
install it.

Done that but...here is list for my MB
