hi - i had nod32 installed before the computer went wrong. i used
killdisk to wipe the harddrive and then reinstalled xp, then i
defragged the drive with perfectdisk

now i use avast home, as i thought that may have been the trouble.

i dont know if this has any relevance, but when i go to my computer the
cdrom and dvd dont display the label information, could it be something
wrong there perhaps.
