- CPU's

Ok what's the difference between CPU's? Not AMD or Intel, but say a E8400
and Xeon E3110? Both are Wolfdale cores but the E3110 says "Server" on the
box. Looking at the spec's they look the same except for the voltage
requirements. So I guess my real question is what's the difference between
a desk top CPU and a Server Cpu? Are they inter-changeable? Will games
suffer because the CPU is designed for a server?

It is the place as far as everyone else is concerned. If you know a better
place (and I'm certain that you don't) suggest it.
Ah, but that yould be helpful and go against the grain for you.

Paul has a CONSTANT hangup when people ask for help and constantly refers
them to the OS, as if THAT was the ONLY thing to consider when THIS IS !!!!
a hardware group. Windows -yes, BUT HARDWARE !!!!

Paul will not give up! His mind is made up! He apparently is in the WRONG
