i used patition magic to transfer free space from d drive to c drive the
d drive does not show on the my computer list the drive exists and i
have transfered free space suggestions?

If you used PM to transfer ALL the free space from drive D:
to drive C: it seems logical that Explorer not show it as a
drive you can use (because drive D: now includes no drivespace.)

When confident drive C: is in good shape, using all the HDD
space, you can use FDISK to remove the reference to partition D:
