- DVD RW not recognising CD's

hi all,
i have bought a new Lite on DVD rewritable..
it was working fine till two days back...
now its not reading CD's anymore but it reads DVD with great
performance...
please help me out... is there any problem with the hardware???

Try a different brand of cdr. It could be the cd lense failed already
but that's not very likely due to the newness of the drive.
Try commercial cd's as well as your own burned cd's.
