- February updates break telnet? keyboard?
- Posted by BradCo on March 8th, 2006
Since the last batch of Windows Updates (feb 2006) we've had a rash of
problems on our Windows 2000 and XP workstations. The keyboard appears to
lock up or submit the wrong keystroke. A reboot of the system usually
resolves it (temporarily). It seems to happen when we are using Multiview
2000 Terminal Emulator (vt220 mode) during a telnet session to a AIX Server.
Also, possibly when Outlook 2003 is open to an Exchange Server 2003 email
account (haven't confirmed this). Anybody else experiencing this? Can't
find topic or solution out there...
