- How record from Mike onto Hard drive?
- Posted by ritter197 on January 2nd, 2006
I use windows xp pro and the soundmax builtin which is on the ASUS
motherboard.
I can test the mike and it works fine with the wizard.
But how can I record onto the harddrive a test portion and then listen to
it?

That will work...
but you are limited to just 60 seconds ...
but there are plenty of 3rd party recorders out there...
I use one called "Total Recorder"
but if you look long enough there may be some that are freebies
and just as good or better

You have to remove Mute in Windows Sound "Volume Control".
