I/O Device Error
Posted by MyChevelle01 on January 29th, 2006

I recently got a new iPod and when I went to put the install CD in
nothing happened. So I went to the start menu, selected RUN clicked on
browse, looked into the F Drive and nothing was there. When I run the
Set Up, a message comes up saying: F:/Drive is not available. Request
could not be preformed because of an I/O Device Error.
I tried putting diffrent disks into the computer and my drive wont
read any of them, if any of you have an idea of what is going on, I
wouold love to hear about it.
Thanks!

Check the ribbon cable at the back of the drive.
