- Intellipoint Mouse

I have a Microsoft Trackball Optical 1.0 with Intellipoint 4.1 software.
I made the mistake of downloading and upgrading to Intellipoint 5.5 which
does not let me configure the 4 buttons or wheel.
I tried to install 4.1 but it won't let me saying your installed driver is
more current.
Can anyone help me?

Go to the Control Panel and remove Microsoft Intellipoint 5.5, then try
installing the older version.

It looks like everthing is OK.
After I closed all windows I noticed a desktop icon to change mouse options.
Intellipoint 5.5 doesn't give you teh tray icon I was use to.
