Just bought an Ipod today. Loaded ITunes 4. something, Upgraded to 6.0.
Updated IPod. when I take Music from any cd, new or old, The only sound
heard from ITunes or Ipod is a clicking sound somewhat like a
"skip"..... I have rebooted, formatted, reformatted, upgraded,
uninstalled, reinstalled several times trying to get this to work...
what gives? Ipod serial # JQ530M9GPS9
Why cannot apple Itunes folks have a support plan that is reasonable.
72 hours to support a product that should work out of the box.

That's a good question. You should ask the folks at Apple that.
In the meantime, you might want to try updating the ipod firmware. Those
updates can be found here

Best suggestion is to return the iPod a get a creative 40G for $250. This
device will act like a hard drive. I will not be like the iPod a stop you
from taking the songs off the device.

Hi PMACBRIAN, I have had my Ipod for about 1.5 years now and I love it.
Despite the the little "rules" Apple has but I have never had any problems
updated Itunes over the last year until this latest release of 6.0 where they
bundles both Quicktime and Itunes together. It compltely messed my computer
up to where the CPU was processing 100%. I was able to restore it to the last
know good config but lost my library and the ability to run the old version
of Itunes. I am patiently waiting for the fixed version to be released. I do
not believe Apple has encountered this many problems with a release before.
Hopefully they are wokring on it. I just wanted you to know that it is
happening to many people and you are not alone.
