Keyboard Switching Woes

Does anyone know how to stop my keyboard randomly switching from UK to
US layout? It's massively annoying and happening many times a day,
without warning and without my doing anything (machine isn't being
logged off / hibernating / restarted in between).

It's a microsoft keyboard on and IBM T42, so not particulary obscure
hardware...

Double check this... Sorry for the canned response but most people are
usually asking how to make αινσϊ for instance so you want to reverse this:
