- monitor acpi fan

There are two system devices in the Windows XP device manager that say
"ACPI fan". I have software that monitors the "ACPI thermal zone"
and gives the cpu temperature, but not the fan speeds. Is there any
software that monitors the ACPI fans and gives the fan speeds? I
have tried speedfan and it doesn't monitor the fans. You would think
that if XP detects the fans in device manager that some software would
be able to monitor the devices.

Most motherboard manufaxturer usually provide a software which would
montor the PC's temp, power and fans. Check with the manufacturer of
yours.
Also, you may want to check out Speedfan (???) This is a separate
utility which monitors most motherboard "fan" (providing they have the
settings that are for your motherboard.)
